In what remains the most bizarre and outrageous performance of his career, Mickey Rooney stars as a crazed Hollywood makeup man who sets out to make his own film. The problem is, he’s already lost his mind. Kidnapping an actress (Luana Anders) and holding her hostage in a warehouse filled with props, he forces her to act out parts as he barks orders to an imaginary film crew and performs song-and-dance routines like something out of a psychedelic nightmare.
